i took 2hrs and 15mins to reach hougang central from clementi because i wanted to "test water".

sigh.

throughout the journey, i repeatedly reprimanded myself for not taking the train back.

argh.

not only did i pass by uber cramped places like little india, i actually choose to take 147 instead of 165 which i suppose will be faster because of the expressway towards ang mo kio.

plus, now i really know why i don't like lower secondary students.

why can't they behave themselves; project themselves in a clean, neat and tidy image? why must they always be running around the school fields and SWEAT like shyt? plus, talking big in public areas. in this case, public transport.

hooligan kid 1: "wah, you really smoke ar? what brand of cig. you smoke? i know marlboro menthol light not nice leh.."

hooligan kid 2: "i smoke all kinds larhs, except all the lights."

hooligan kid 1: "really anot? then you 1 week smoke 2 packets ar?"

hooligan kid 2: "nolarh, siao! 1 month 1 stick only."

hooligan kid 1: "blur....?"

hooligan kid 2: "haha. kidding larh. i 1 month smoke 1 or 2 packet lidar only larh."

etc, etc.

for your information, i would gladly wish to let everyone know that the above two kids come from XINMIN SECONDARY. i hope that the school would be able to do something to this should they catch their students smoking red-handed.

of which, i believe it is a problem all schools face. we, should do our part and bring on this emphasis. people, STOP smoking!

after alighting at hougang central, i bought myself a packet of guava. just so that i would have a gold coin for my ntuc trolley. i know it sounds abit stupid, but hey! i just felt like eating guava as well.

went grocery shopping. bought prawns, vegetables and blah. i cooked dinner today! yeah!

whatever. i know you people are not interested with what i cook but yes, i cooked!

i got a job offer in taiwan. but it is to teach at CHIAYI. which is like 4-5hours journey from where i intend to reside at. so, i have got no choice but to reject the offer and get the respective person in charge to get me more offers at probably taipei city.

the basic salary is NT$45,000 - S$2,250. (per month) can you imagine?

high paying jobs, low living expenses. and i wouldn't mind being a little extravagant to live in that so called "star-studded" area should i be able to fetch S$3,000 a month, which is very possible.

you rent very beautifully renovated houses, so conveniently located next to night bizarre markets, 7-11s, mrts, etc.

i'm loving taiwan each day!

but again, i wasted 1hr 30mins of my time today, because if i were to take the train instead, i'd be home in probably 45mins. argh!
