eh, why do we women need so many different salutations just to tell others if we're married, single, or that we're married but sticking on to our "original" surname?

the guys don't care, do they? some guys are "married into" the women's family and take after the female's surnames. should we have another kind of salutation for them? some are not married and some of them are, but they still share that one and only MR. hahas.
