as i sit down and sink into deep thoughts. i wondered. alot.

with technology moving on oh-so-fast every second, do we really care about the changes taking place around us?

i suddenly recalled days before north-east line was activated. we hougang-ers had to take it to our pride that bus travelling is much more fun than those in toa payoh, ang mo kio, you know, those mrt-ied areas.

and travelling by bus seriously enable us to gain more knowledge. you see, when on bus, you can know what is happening to your surrounding.
eg. which expressway is up, which building is going to be demolished, blah blah.

at times, you can even see funny, interesting stuffs. there's simply so much to look at! what a fulfilling moment.

but wait! we humans are never satisfied with all that we have, and always tend to take things like asif there isn't time for us to spare. we make use of our knowledge to improvise on technological stuffs to help us travel from place to place faster. such, the mrt.

and imagine, cooping yourself up in that 12 or 13 cabin long machine, is almost equivalent to time wasting. (at least to me)

yes. though we travel very much faster that way, but, all we see are stone walls, and at most, passengers from different walks of lifes sharing the same cabin as you are. and too much reliance on mrt, would make us an idiot on the roads. agree? hahas!

like i always love travelling to carlton by train, because i can sleep in later. but at night, so much so even if i could get the last train home, i wouldn't want to. i simply love travelling by bus 80 on such nights home.

when the road is clear, the traffic ain't congested. you sit down, relax and catch a oh-so-beautiful view of the places around you. wow. how much you've simply missed by taking the train?

but still, the contrary is on, travelling on buses by the night. i wouldn't advise someone to take bus 80 to work from home in the afternoon. the scorching sun can kill you! and fuss you up! argh. lol.

so much for my whinings. right now, i'm gonna go towards that deadly cabin, and travel somewhere downtown, for cny shopping. weeee*
