watch the following with head tilted towards the left. sorry for the bad angling. hahas!
finished? above was the chinese religious thingy i went to earlier on, and witnessed man stepping on broken glasses, hacking themselves with torture weapons and swords, following up, sitting in a big wok, and STEAM themselves for near 5-10 minutes before coming out of that big "urn" or something like that? eeeew.
anyway, i don't know how those "holy guys" did that, but hey. that's at least something. no rehearsals no nothing. wow.
pictures speak louder and prove more than anyother things.
thingy used to "hurt" body.
the glass route they have to take, and on the way, pick that thingy up.
steaming human.
last but not least, OMG! look at the blood! eeewks.
imagine? the pain and scars inflicted onto the body. and they even went into the "urn" and steam themselves. what the hell. marvellous larh! lol. but gruesome. scary. terrible! i swear i'll never do such harm to myself. although, after they "regained conscious", i cheekily asked if it hurt. hahahahas! that was a stupid question afterall. they could walk around and eat, drink, smoke, whatever. i suddenly am remembered of the day i had an accdent which caused cuts on my arm. hell. i teared.! brrrh.
but the above event was sometime back then. jan 6th i suppose. hahas.
okie. well, i went to singapore expo with dad and mum today. wanted to go to that channel 8 thingy held there, and was so damn disappointed. the number of stalls there are pathetic! less then 20 stores i suppose. and seriously, who would go to expo and pay high rents for low traffic? we all know, that is an almost 75% malay area what. stick to chinatown larh organisers! lol.
and oh. so happened to bump into superstars. and yah. so "super". only derrick was cute enough to bring that smile on my face. hahas. and i got a picture of him! so upfront!
man oh man. what a cutie pie! hiaks*
so, after that event sorta ended, (we didn't stay to watch the whole thing larh. just that it happened so much so when we were about to leave, it ended. hahas) we went for sorta lunchner. you know, the foodcourt was so unreasonably expensive, and i swear i won't pay that extra cent. a plate of usual cost duck rice costs $2.50. and over there, i'm expected to like pay $4.00 ? might as well rob.
so, we went to this macau cafe. which is like, summed up near the amount we'd pay over at the foodcourt, and tastes much nicer, and also, we hardly get to eat portugese stuffs. hahas.
the al'famous pork chop bun. weeee*
the bun was extremely crispy. one bite and you'll know. the pork chop is superb! that hongkong style of near to WHITE curry is three thumbs up!
chicken baked in portugese style with rice.
man! how delicious can that chicken get? i believe the way it was handled and also the selection of chicken are important for the making of this lovely chicken. why? any of you ever tasted chicken BREASTS which tastes like the soft tender THIGH (or drumstick if you name it)? it's a die die must try!
oh wait. i tried the portugese egg tart as well! but before i remembered to take a picture of it, it was in my tummy already. hahas. yummy!
yuen yang.
then dad and mum shared this cup of drink called "yuen yang". this is neither coffee nor tea. this is coffee and tea! i believe you guys know what this is larh. anyway, i didn't get a sip of it because i will shrik away from coffee. hahas. you've gotta try it to know it. according to dad, it's not bad. =S
we then headed off to tampines mall. nothing much about the mall, but sales were all around. i managed to grab a little bargains. hehe. and yes. i spotted a super duper clumsy fat god of fortune. yes. that's the one posted above! so STUPID right? hahas.
and since there's nothing much left at tampines mall, century square, we went to parkway parade. i insisted on getting an esprit bag. i found it real nice and it's GREEN! though it cost me a bomb. brrh. but nevermind. i'll earn it back soon. hahas.
and some figurines of the 12 zodiacs for everyone's viewing pleasure. i didn't take all as some were real ugly. though not all that i took looked nice, but, all are part of my big family whom i can recall their zodiacs. hahas!
(can you spot yours? =P)
rat
tiger
rabbit
dragon
goat
monkey
chicken and monkey
pig
imagine. i MISSED OUT THE DOG! lol. i forgot. as it was standing in the middle, and there was this big fountain which restricted my access towards it, i left it "stranded". hahas!
the cutest of all i still believe is the tiger! the rabbit is FAT! the dragon is MAD!(why hold an incense for no reason? do they survive on that? hahas) the monkey isn't how a CUTE monkey should look like to me. the goat looked more like a fire spitting dinosaur. the chicken is so FAKE. (it's eyes looked asif they're dropping. hahas) the rat looked more like a kangaroo. the pig looked stupid!
anyway, that's what i felt. hahas. still, long live the animals! hahahas.
okie. i can't get any longer. i'm outta pics for descriptions. hahas.
CNY IS NEARING! SOON! maybe the early arrival of it made me mad as i have never been mentally prepared to welcome CNY so soon just 1 month after x'mas. =)
till the very next time.
don't phunk with my heart.
