i haf some shocking news. i hrd frm my mum's fren, her daughter, who finished her poly dip, gort her first job in a big company. starting pay is oni $1,200. wht the hell? seriously, i am gettin' jobs tht offer $1,200 to even $1,500 "qualifications". poly?

nort to gloat or wht lah, juz a piece of advise frm mi.. yes, poly is indeed recognised. nice. but. if u don't plan to go for a degree, juz forget it (if u're financially restrained) and get a job. the pay's abt the same. goin' thru private is nth bad, and u'll gain EXPERIENCES which are invaluable.

and to thse As students, pls DO NOT deprive thse on the borderline of teir chances on goin' to poly. KINDLY go to a JC can? bahhh.! muahahahahahahas.*

well, job search is indeed smth tough. as compared to the past. thse "yaya papaya" daes of job search, is nth compared to the desperation of needing one.

had a somehw funny interview todae. i went to a law firm, to interview for the post of a receptionist at raffles place (the main) over at toa payoh's branch. the interviewer was a lil' slow paced, which somehw is gd larh. because she is nice. u can sense tht "i'm nice" tingy in the air. lols.

had a half n hr tok wif her. in e end, she told mi. "to tell u the truth, i'd like u to wrk for my branch as an admin assistant instead of gettin' u ovr to raffles place as a recep. i believe tht u cld do alot better as an admin assistant because u haf the strng foundation in english, which is important to a law firm." was elated.

but, she doesn't haf a vacancy nw. so, i'm somehw hanging in the air. seriously, the wrkin' environment is cool. nice high class office tower. at hdb hub. woot. and she said, she's kiv-ing mi.. and will call me perhaps 1 or 2 mths dwn, or whnevr thr's a position for mi.

so lucky tht someone actually is willing to coach mi. she told mi the many more tings i cld actually learn as an admin asst, and afta i haf gorten the ropes, she'd let mi venture on othr tings. let's pray. or be BAD!

god, i wish, sincerely wish, tht "someone" whom i wld be able to replace, wld leave in less thn 1 wk. LOLs.

man, don't gif mi hope and make mi fall. lols..

i am darn tired larhs. grghh. and to tink tht i hafta wrk at carlton tml.. =.="' i don't even feel like stepping outta my hse man. also, i told all interviewers i cld start at a shrt notice. wldn't i be totally drained out if someone cors mi and saes.. "monday u can start wrk?" i can't possibly sae no rite? arhh. god, help larhs. if someone is gna get mi to start on monday, pls.. get benson or whoevr to cor mi.. and sae.. "eh, i tink todae u no nid come le.."
