carlton? dunno lehs. alot of tings happened. nort tat others tell mi. bud, through reading blogs. v.tired of workin at carlton recentli. nort tat i'm part of nutz, I'M NOT. wadever lahs, felt a lil' unjust for em even at my neutral pt of view. juz felt tat nutz are good workers, without em there, and newbies cumin in, work's gonna be soo soo soo tough. and e fear of hardship, is e main reason i don't wanna work. i could recall e dae whereby nutz were supposed to work, but yet did not work.. was livin hell for mi. guess i'll juz gif myself a few weeks time to search for e office job i owis wanted so badly, and if i can't get ani, den i'll decide on how to while my holidaes away. =x

i suppose i'm in no position to speak up for anione or wadever, bud as a neutral party, i def. haf my opinions and thoughts bout tis matter. thus, i hope whoever reads tis wun be offended. sincere apologies first.

was doin my usual routine of reading blogs. aww. seriously no one updated. bud wen i saw rina tag at boon's blog. shocked. so, i quikly read hers. cuz her's is owis e last blog i read as i can link frm wanni to her mahs. den no one else le. ok, y should i bother to tell u who's blog i read last. lol.

saw mani arrows pointing towards nutz, and e numerous tings ah neo suffered. well, to mi, like i owis sae, wen conflicts start, all are at fault. i oso haf my own conflicts, and i noe i'm definitely at fault, just tat it ain't mi to bend on my knees and acknowledge my mistake if i realise tat e other party tinks tat he/she is right. no way!

first, to speak up a lil' for nutz frm wad i understand frm e wrkin situations, seriously no one else except nutz are willing to work midnite. and tat, there was a period of time wen all were having holidaes, tey seriously devoted teir times to carlton lahs. dae in dae out, it was as if carlton was teir second home. and since tey oreadi gaf up so much time, i suppose it's fair to let e whole grp haf 1 or 2 daes off a week for sum get together tingy. u can't strand em up at carlton all e times.

whatsmore, i learnt tat carlton used to receive complaints instead of compliments, but now, tings are reali turning for e better. i strongli belief tat nutz contributed to tis change, since andy told rina and compani nutz are good? "personally, i think tht the carlton bqt team should practice some democracy and reduce the biasism" i gort tis frm boon's blog. and i agree wif wad he said bout e 'reduce biasism' tingy. sum of e staffs at carlton are simply too favoured. and i don't know why is tis allowed to take place where all are wearing maroon. we take e same pay and do e same job, just y e difference in treatment.

frm my point of view, carlton's losing a bunch of good staffs. it's carlton's lost. i believe tat there are mani other hotels tat needs staffs like peeps frm nutz. yet, tey've devoted it to carlton for such a long time. now, just becuz tey wanna stop work altogether for a dae or 2 or wadever it is, carlton's prepared to sorta take actions against em, it's realli nort worth it. tey are nort contract-bound.

like wad rina also mentioned in her blog, "The only bad point about you all is your thinking of 1 don't go work, all don't go also." well, i muz agree tat tis is actualli a v.suxy tinkin to haf wen working. but, it's a nice ting to know wen there's such strong bonds amongst ur clique. i belief tat e reason y carlton bqt is so different frm other hotels is mostly made up of e relationship btwn one another tat we share. it's nort forever "yes sir, yes sir" stuffs. it's "sia0 eh!" tis kinda tingy tat contributed in bonding e staffs too.

i agree wif e saying, "BANQUET IS ALL ABOUT TEAMWORK". but am at times freaked out wen i c sum staffs are actually released earlier. perhaps e staffs self-released emselves lahs. i dunno. carlton have been practicing teamwork. yes. as i recall, recently, all e staffs worked together to help relief e midnite worker's load by leaving at ard 11.30, 11.45 and being signed out at 11. tat's a nice move. it's x'mas eve, and all of us wanna go and haf fun. really sorry bout turning my back on workin midnite last min. bud was happy to c each and everyone of e staffs willingly help complete e ballroom before leaving without ani complaints. =D

also, carlton can't depend on a group of staffs all the while. everyone would eventualli grow up and perhaps get sick of workin in e banquet line, and haf teir own stuffs to deal wif. u expect all bqt staffs to stay at a hotel forever and earn tat pitiful $6 per hour? still, at times u haf to let go. u can owis train newbies, at which i seriously tink carlton ain't doin lahs. cuz most of e newbies i worked wif, CMI. perhaps i am e one who sux and tat i can't bring e newbie to excel or wad lahs, bud i juz don't like workin wif newbies nowadaes. bud, not all of em. =)

next, i muz sae tat i seriously don't know wad sorta tension's goin on between nutz and e supervisors. bud 1 ting i noe, tey haf been treating mi quite well all along. *blessed mi* although at times augustine's realli irritating. =D

bud frm wad i tink lahs, it's due to teir grooming? i guess whole of carlton knows tat e supervisors are v.unhappi bout some of nutz's hairdo. again, frm a guest's point of view, i seriously don't mind lahs. in fact, i would hope to c sum yandao servers. hahas. and tey need to style teir hair in order to be yandao? ok, dun bother to read tis. i'm crapping.

no one can be totally happi or unhappi wif his/her workplace. i am one of em. bud e reasons i'm happi or unhappi wif, i would definitely mention it at tat pt to at least sumone. i'm one who can't keep tings i'm happi or unhappi wif deep inside my heart. i need to let e steam off or share my joy. thus, i won't repeat it here. lest trouble being invited.

and one ting tat realli pisses mi off is e cutting down of staffs. ok, u expect a 4 star hotel to produce service equivalent to a 5 star hotel, yet u are scrimping on staffs? i seriously don't know wad e hotel is up to. tings weren't lidar in e past. there were even times wen we worked 1 to 1. 1 to 2. 2 to 3. tis and tat. bud right now, e scenarios are, 1 to 3, 2 to 4, at times 2 to 5, if e reserved tables are opened. and for staffs workin at empress, bless em cuz it's simply more convenient workin there but, empress is damn fussy bout table services. as for esplanade, u reali can HECK. bud e layout is wad i hate bout esplanade. and cheap-skate guests. oh shit! i'm gettin v.carried off. complainin bout e ballrooms huhz. lol. ok, STOP.

i really am happi to sae tat workin as a bqt staff, it has indeed taught mi alot. i used to haf stupid tinkings bout e settings at other hotels. how cum tey can make until lidar lahs.. and shitts.. bud after workin as one, i noe e tricks in it. and tat i am a better guest at dinners. e other staffs wrkin at other hotels would love mi for tat. hahas. it has and always will be a pleasure to work in carlton.

well, i seriously don't know how should i take my v.next step. i don't know still. don't ask mi. i am a big time slacker. be it work, frens, wadever. i feel like giving everyting up. bud it's easier said den done. well, e big "essay" is done. once again, sincere apologies to e concerned parties if u are unhappi wif wad i said. it's juz sum casual remarks. don't tink too much bout it. i don't make big influences aniwae.
